DAVAO CITY – More than 150 residents of Barangay Catalunan Pequeño received free healthcare services through the Pulong Pulong ni Pulong (PPP) Medical Mission conducted during the barangay’s Araw ng Barangay celebration.
A total of 153 beneficiaries availed themselves of free medical consultations and healthcare services, bringing much-needed medical assistance directly to the community.
The medical mission also provided free eyeglasses to 80 residents, helping improve their vision and supporting their daily activities, particularly for those who have limited access to eye care services.
Beyond healthcare assistance, participants were served hot meals and lunch throughout the activity, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for residents who attended the event.

To further add excitement to the celebration, organizers conducted a raffle draw featuring various prizes, including abaca bags, mini luggage, watches, and 10 sacks of rice.
The initiative was carried out through the collaboration of the PPP Medical Mission team and the Office of the Vice Mayor, underscoring their shared commitment to expanding access to healthcare and community support programs.
Organizers emphasized that the activity forms part of their continuing efforts to promote public health and improve the well-being of residents by bringing essential services closer to communities.
