Vicente Pichon IV | MATI CITY — The Provincial Government of Davao Oriental, through the Provincial Health Office and the Davao Oriental Provincial Medical Center (DOPMC), officially launched the “DOPMC H.E.A.L.S.” program (Hatid ay Epektibong Halaga at Libreng Serbisyo), also known as Cashless DOPMC, on May 20, 2026, in Mati City.
The launching was led by Davao Oriental Governor Nelson L. Dayanghirang. The initiative aims to make hospital transactions faster, easier, and more transparent for patients and their families.

In his message, Governor Dayanghirang emphasized that the program is part of the province’s continuing efforts to provide efficient, accessible, and dignified healthcare services to all Oriental Dabawenyos.
Alongside the activity, medicines and healthcare supplies were also distributed through the support of various agencies and organizations that partnered with the program.
Among those who received significant assistance were children with Type 1 Diabetes under the TAMIS Program, as well as beneficiaries of the hypertension awareness campaign under the PPSA Program.
The event highlighted the strengthened collaboration between the Provincial Government of Davao Oriental and national agencies in improving and expanding access to quality healthcare services for people across the province. ( 📷 | PIO, Province of Davao Oriental )
