
AGUSAN DEL SUR | Police authorities are tracking down threats of a planned attack on a local school scheduled for tomorrow, August 27, 2026.
The threat circulated on social media, warning of a shooting targeting teachers at Santa Josefa National High School in Santa Josefa, Agusan del Sur.
“Security measures are already mounted in the school and so with other schools and to the teachers being threatened,” said PMaj Hudson C. Bangit, Officer-in-Charge of the Sta. Josefa Police Station, in an exclusive interview with Pahayagan Caraga.
According to the online threat, a user identified as “Yes Boo” claimed they would shoot Grade 10 teachers tomorrow, specifically targeting those in the Narra and Mangrove sections.
In response, local police will establish outposts at affected schools and conduct daily patrols across 21 educational institutions from morning until afternoon, Monday through Friday.(Manny Pajarito / Pahayagan Caraga-Agsur Writer)
