PROSPERIDAD, AGUSAN DEL SUR,— DITO Telecommunity is one of the sponsors of Palarong Pambansa 2026 in fostering partnership with the Department of Education (DepEd).
Through next-generation technological support and seamless connectivity, DITO is delivering an enhanced experience for all athletes, delegates, and spectators gathered in Agusan del Sur for what is already shaping up to be a landmark edition of the national games.
DITO as the fastest growing telecommunications proved once and for all its capability by putting up internet services to 17 billeting quarters and 17 game venues, to serve 10,718 student-athletes and 1,600 coaches[AP5.1], 440 assistant coaches, and 489 chaperones who needed connectivity and faster/easier way to communicate all through out the event.
Two **Cellsite on Wheels (COWs)** are mounted in the vital areas like the main sports complex and ceremony grounds to ensure strong connectivity since the kick off of the event on May 11 until May 31,2026.
This is for the DITO company to ensure that no athlete would ever be bothered with poor connections as they go about with their events while enduring absence and distance from loved ones.
