Pahayagan’s journey began in 2013 as Mindanaw Balita, as a dream for Domsy Ramos, a seasoned journalist from Davao del Norte and her visionary friend known as MNP. Ms. Ramos, as the former Editor-in-Chief of Mantalaan Tagum City, and with experience as a correspondent for Sunstar Superbalita and a resident writer to a number of commercial entities, Ms. Ramos amassed sufficient knowledge about the media industry and profound grasp of the media landscape in Mindanao.
Navigating the initial challenges of sustaining a print publication, Mindanaw Balita persevered, culminating the acquisition of all necessary legal documentation by 2021. Today, operating as MP Pahayagan Mindanaw News Publishing, we hold a Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) registration with a Nationwide Scope (Business Name No. 29290919, expiring February 8, 2028) and is registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (TIN number 941-142-444-000), solidifying our legitimacy and commitment to responsible operation.
